SOP-driven production, workover, and wireline services built on field-proven expertise across South Texas and the Delaware Basin. We help operators maximize asset value with documented procedures and environmental compliance.
We have the knowledge and expertise to help you optimize your asset's production while ensuring environmental compliance. Whether it's managing preventative maintenance across 2,000 facilities or a one-time call-out for fishing a bumper spring assembly out of the hole — the HalconAguas team is ready.
Every operation we run is backed by written Standard Operating Procedures — from pressure control and rigging up to swabbing and P&A filings. Our SOP-driven approach ensures consistency, safety, and accountability across every crew, every well, every day. We also develop custom SOPs for our clients, helping them build the operational frameworks their teams need.
Data-driven production optimization with real-time reporting and analysis platforms.
Environmental and regulatory compliance built into every operation we run.
Written SOPs for every operation — ensuring consistency, accountability, and repeatable results.
Round-the-clock availability for emergency call-outs and critical operations.
Every job we run follows documented Standard Operating Procedures — and we help our clients build theirs.
From pre-job safety meetings and JSA completion to running speeds, pressure testing, and equipment redress — our crews follow written, step-by-step procedures for every operation.
Stop work authority, mandatory PPE standards, hazard analysis before every task, and no-phone zones around wellheads. Safety isn't a priority we balance — it's the foundation everything else is built on.
We don't just follow procedures — we build them. HalconAguas develops custom SOPs for clients, giving your field teams the operational playbooks they need for safe, consistent, and efficient execution.
From field consulting and wireline operations to end-of-life plugging, we cover the full asset lifecycle.
HalconAguas provides experienced oilfield consultants who bring hands-on expertise to every phase of well operations. Our consultants integrate seamlessly with your team, providing the field knowledge and oversight needed to keep operations running safely and efficiently.
We staff consultants across multiple disciplines so you have the right expertise on location when you need it — whether it's a routine workover, a complex completion, or managing the final stages of a well's productive life.
Day-to-day well and facility management including gauging, chemical treatment, equipment monitoring, preventative maintenance, and production optimization across your lease.
On-site supervision for frac pad logistics, flowback operations, and bringing new wells online — ensuring each completion hits its production targets on schedule.
Experienced well-site supervision for remedial work including rod and tubing pulls, pump changes, zone isolation, and restoring wells to optimal production.
Specialized oversight for plugging and abandonment operations — coordinating cement jobs, regulatory filings, and ensuring compliance through final site restoration.
Our wireline division operates modern units with experienced crews across South Texas and the Delaware Basin. Every crew follows our written operating procedures — from well review and pressure control to defined running speeds and post-job equipment redress. We provide a full range of mechanical and electric wireline services with 24/7 availability for both scheduled operations and emergency call-outs.
Single-strand solid wire operations for mechanical downhole work — running and pulling plugs, gauge rings, bailers, shifting sleeves, and bottom-hole pressure surveys. Our crews handle routine and complex slickline jobs with precision.
Electric line services for downhole logging and evaluation — bond logs, collar logs, gamma ray, temperature surveys, and casing inspection. Real-time data transmission gives you immediate results on location.
Multi-strand braided cable for heavy-duty mechanical work requiring higher tensile strength — fishing operations, setting and retrieving heavy packers, and running large-OD tools in deeper or deviated wells.
Well swabbing services to reduce hydrostatic pressure and initiate or restore flow. Every swab job follows our documented procedure — from pre-job safety meetings and lubricator pressure testing through fluid-level tracking, sample analysis, and turning the well to the facility.
When pipe becomes stuck downhole, our crews run free-point tools and stuck-pipe logs to identify exactly where the pipe is free. We then use explosive cutters, string shots, and split shots to sever or back off the pipe — recovering as much of the string as possible and getting the well back on track.
Well plugging and abandonment is one of the most regulated phases of a well's lifecycle. HalconAguas handles the entire P&A process — from initial filings through final site restoration — so operators can close out liabilities with confidence that every requirement is met.
We manage the paperwork, coordinate the operations, and ensure every cement plug passes the required tests. Our team's experience with Texas Railroad Commission regulations means fewer rejections, faster approvals, and compliant closures.
We prepare and submit all required forms — W-3A intent to plug, sundry notices (W-2), and organizational reports — working directly with the RRC or OCD to ensure filings are accepted the first time.
Our operations team handles tubing pulls, casing cuts, and the placement of cement plugs at each required interval. We verify plug depths and volumes to meet regulatory specifications before testing.
Getting a good test on the well is critical. We perform positive pressure tests on each cement plug, holding required pressure for the mandated duration. If a plug fails, we re-cement and retest until we get a verified good test — no shortcuts.
After successful plugging, we file completion reports (W-3) and plug records, then manage surface restoration — removing equipment, filling cellars, and restoring the location to its original condition per lease and regulatory requirements.
Our reputation is built one well at a time.
They are some of the hardest working guys I know. They did a great job in both the good times and the lean ones.
The HalconAguas supervisors are some sharp guys. They are always looking to use the latest technology to get the job done.
